About
Herts Pulse Summary — super-powered by AIFitness at Batchwood Golf & Tennis Centre is a gym at 71 Batchwood Drive in St Albans, set within the wider sports centre on the Batchwood site. It is wheelchair accessible, and the customer feedback points to a place that suits people after a well-equipped workout without too much bustle. Inside, expect plenty of cardio machines, strength machines and free weights, along with a quieter training space than some larger gyms. That said, the changing rooms, showers and some of the equipment have been mentioned as areas that could do with improvement, and the air-conditioning has been noted as less effective in hot weather. It may appeal most if you want a fairly straightforward gym alongside other activities at the centre, such as pickleball.
