Secret Place

Secret Place is a restaurant on London Road in Sawbridgeworth, with a tucked-away feel that suits its name. It’s the sort of place people often come across by chance, then return to for lunch, dinner or a coffee and dessert stop. The setting gives it a discreet, slightly off-the-main-road character, while still being easy to find once you know where to look. On a visit, expect a restaurant that works well for groups and sees a steady mix of sit-down meals and takeaway. Customers most often mention fresh food, generous value and dishes cooked with care, with particular praise for the meat. It also seems to suit regular catch-ups after school as well as more settled evening meals, so it’s a practical option if you want somewhere that can handle family visits, friends or a straightforward meal in Sawbridgeworth.
